• JetVac Operation - FTI’s exclusive JetVac technology is the most reliable way to create high
  levels of vacuum with virtually no maintenance and very low operating costs. Vacuum levels as
  high as -28 hg can be reached enabling high boiling point solvents to be safely recovered.
  How does the JetVac work? A stainless steel reservoir is initially filled with a small amount
  of clean solvent during the set up process. A small stainless steel vertical pump is immersed
  in the clean solvent and is powered by an explosion-proof electric motor. Clean solvent is
  drawn into the pump and forced through the vacuum generator tube. Air from the distillation
  tank and piping is removed, lowering the pressure in the system, and allowing the solvent in
  the distillation tank to boil at a lower temperature. When the solvent begins to boil, clean,
  distilled solvent flows into the JetVac reservoir and is gravity fed into a collection drum.
• The LS-Jr. with vacuum attachment provides for safe in-house reclamation of contaminated solvents with boiling points of 200° to 500°F (93° to 260°C).

  The Little Cooler is a closed-loop cooling system designed to work with an FTI distillation
  system. Use of the Little Cooler can save money and conserve the environment by eliminating
  the continuous use of a clean water supply. Further, this air-cooled system uses no ozone depleting
  gasses to perform its job. Quality engineered and manufactured, the Little Cooler
  requires minimal operator involvement and maintenance and can provide years of trouble-free
  service. The Little Cooler is compatible with all of FTI’s electrically heated LS-Series solvent
  distillation systems.

  Alcohol, Acetone, M.E.K., Toluene, Xylene, Decane, Nitro Benzene and many others may be processed in a rapid vacuum distillation system for recovery of solvents and to eliminate pollution.
